Now that you have graduated college, you will be going into the real world and will be attending many interviews. Here are some tips on how to dress right to make the first impression a great one.

Men:

  • Dress in a manner that is appropriate for the position you are interviewing for. For most that means wearing a suit. A full “suit” consist of a matching jacket and pants, dress shirt, tie, coordinating socks and dress shoes. A dark-colored suit with light colored shirt is your best option.

  • Your suit should be comfortable and fit you well so that you will look and act you best.

  • Avoid extravagant designs and loud colors, you want to come off as professional.

  • Clothing should be neat, clean, and ironed.

  • Make sure you have fresh breath, clean, neat hair and face, along with wearing some deodorant. You really don't want the first impression to be bad.
